Is suffering necessary?

Is suffering really necessary? Yes and no. If you had not suffered as you have, there would be no depth to you as a human being, no humility, no compassion. You would not be reading this now. Suffering cracks open the shell of ego, and then comes a point when it has served its purpose. Suffering is necessary until you realise it is unnecessary.

¿El sufrimiento es realmente necesario? Sí y no. Si no hubieras sufrido como lo has hecho, no tendrías profundidad alguna como ser humano, ni humildad ni compasión. No estarías leyendo esto ahora. El sufrimiento rompe la cáscara del Ego, y luego llega un momento en que habrá cumplido su cometido. El sufrimiento es necesario hasta que te des cuenta de que es innecesario.
