Adjusting the sails
I can’t change the direction of the wind, but I can adjust my sails to always reach my destination.
No puedo cambiar la dirección del viento, pero sí ajustar mis velas para llegar siempre a mi destino.
James Dean

Logic will take you from A to B. The imagination will take you anywhere.
La lógica te llevará desde A hasta B. La imaginación te llevará a cualquier parte.
Albert Einstein
Let the beauty you love be what you are.
Deja que la belleza que amas sea lo que eres.
Rumi
O Loving Being, help me to spread your beauty everywhere I go today. Flood my soul with your spirit and light. Fill my whole being so utterly that all my life may be a radiance of you.

Be aware of its subtle power. Do not attack, avoid or try to banish your fears: meet them, accept them – and you will slowly transform them
Daniel O’Leary
Do the thing you fear and the death of fear is certain.
Ralph Waldo Emerson
“L’uomo che cavalcava nel buio”
Occhi limpidi, cuore puro
Se tu hai paura, il cavallo avrà paura…
È come uno spugno
Ojos límpidos, corazón puro
Si tu tienes miedo, el caballo tendrá miedo…
Es como una esponja
Clear eyes, pure heart
If you are afraid, the horse will be afraid…
It is like a sponge
You may think yourself lazy, or flawed. Yet your body is made of almost exactly the same elements as the stars. Your bone composition matches the coral in the seas and you, my friend, are ruled by the moon and the sun. Whether you like it or not. So no, you are not lazy, Nature is simply pulling you to slow, like the life, floral and fauna around you. It is not your moment to rise. It is winter, you are wintering. And you are right on time.
Donna Ashworth
When the mind calms it can hear more subtle things – that’s when your thinking slows down, your intuition starts to blossom and you see things more clearly in the present. This is a discipline and you have to practise it.
Steve Jobs
We can make our minds so like still water that beings gather about us so that they may see, it may be, their own images, and so live for a moment with a clearer, with a fiercer life because of our quiet.
W.B. Yeats
“The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face to shine upon you, and be gracious to you; the Lord lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace.”
Num. 6:24-26
This blessing was entrusted by God, through Moses, to Aaron and his sons, i.e. to the priests of Israel. It is a triple blessing filled with light, radiating from the repetition of the name of God, the Lord, and from the image of His face. In fact, in order to be blessed, we have to stand in God’s presence, take His name upon us and remain in the cone of light that issues from His face, in a space lit by his gaze, diffusing grace and peace.
Pope Benedict XVI
There are only two ways to live your life: one is to believe that nothing is a miracle. The other is to believe that everything is a miracle.
Albert Einstein.
The first swallow from the cup of the natural sciences makes atheists – but at the bottom of the cup God is waiting.
Weiner Heisenberg, Nobel prize Nuclear Physics
There is a common misconception that the good things in life come from being in the right place at the right time. In truth, everything that is good comes from being on the right channel with the right reception.
This is what the sages call “z’chut”, sometimes translated as “merit”. What it really means is a kind of fine-tuning of the soul.
How do you fine-tune the soul? You have 3 knobs:
Adjust them carefully for static-free reception.
12 Tammuz 5732:8
When He had finished His world, complete and whole, each thing in its place, the earth below and the heavens above, … it was then that the Artist signed His holy name, with a vacuum in time, a motionless vortex to the constant change, a hollow through which infinite Light could enter within and kiss the finite world. And He called it Shabbat.
In each thing there is a Shabbat, an opening that allows life to enter, a desire to receive from Beyond. In each being there is a sense of wonder, of knowing that there is something greater. A something it will never know.
And through that opening it receives life. With that wonder, it opens itself to the Infinite.
